ŻNIWA/HARVEST

How do we read the body and who owns it? Does my body represent me, can I control its meaning? Inspired by the works of Polish female performance artists from 1970’s and 1980’s I offer my take on the topic of reclaiming the representation of the female body. In the performance I slowly remove the oppression under which an alternative is growing. I share it with the audience, it is up to all of us what we will harvest at the end of the day. ‘ŻNIWA/HARVEST’ is the conversion between me, my body, its representation, the audience and the crops of our actions.
