ROOTS OF MY WOMANHOOD

2019 shown at IKLECTIK Art Lab as part of European Poetry Festival

In search for the roots of my womanhood I called my mother and father live asking them: what kind of woman they wanted me to become when they were raising me?; and my brother, asking him: what kind of woman he wanted me to become as an older brother?. The final product that emerged from these conversations was a poem.
